Compost MAKING OF HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE

Making compost from household waste could be a business opportunity for you.

Household garbage consists of organic and inorganic waste. The organic waste is split into two, namely:

1. Green Organic Waste (waste vegetables from the kitchen)
For example: stem / cassava leaves, papaya, kale, spinach, eggplant skin, carrots, moored Siamese, yams, cassava, fruit skins, pineapple, banana, jackfruit, banana leaves, watermelon, coconut pulp, waste vegetable / side dishes, and garbage from kebum (grass, leaves dry / wet).
2. Animals that eat organic garbage such as fish, shrimp, chicken, meat, eggs and the like.

Namely in the form of inorganic waste materials such as paper, cardboard, besek, cans, various kinds of plastic, styrofoam, etc..

Inorganic waste that can be recycled, for example:
- Packaging, plastic packaging bags to be made.
- Old plastic bottles can be made into a glass lid.
- Glasses can be made plastic plant pots

Clean garbage can be sold / given to scavengers. For example, paperboard, cardboard, styrofoam, besek, bottles, plastic-plastic food packaging, plastic bags, newspapers, magazines, papers, and so forth. The types that are separate in a clean bag, just given to scavengers thrown into the trash without first.

Trash is really dirty and we can not recycle, not feasible given to scavengers. This is what is thrown in the trash. By doing so we can help reduce the volume of waste dumped in landfill (Landfill).

Alternative 1:
Prepare:

1. Cardboard

6. Plastic sacks porous (for wrapping boxes) or a laundry basket where dirty clothes (Takakura).

Method:

1. Place the coconut coir cushion above the mortar of the compost + bin
2. Make a cardboard layer by layer until full. Boxes stored in a basket (Takakura) or wrap it with a porous plastic sacks. Put in place that are not exposed to rain and sun. Every 3-4 days to open and flip-flops, do continue until all waste into black, was destroyed.
3. Trash has been turned into compost ready for use / sale. (To be sold, screened beforehand). If the first box is full, make a second cardboard box, etc..

Alternative 2:

1. Drum containers, plastic buckets or barrels
2. Given container holes for air exchange didasarnya
3. Waste material to be cut 2-4 cm
4. Decomposing microorganisms as activators. Examples of EM-4, Starbio, Temban. These materials can be replaced with compost than plants.
5. Water
6. Mixer.

Method:

1. Waste material is inserted inside the container layer, then add compost or decomposing microorganisms
2. Perform continuous layer by layer until a full container
3. Doused with water evenly
4. On day 5 -7, the media can be flip-flops. Stirring was repeated every five days and stopped until the waste into black and broken.

Pitaya is a newcomer to the world of fruits in Indonesia. These plants come from Mexico, Central America, and South America. Dragon fruit was introduced in Indonesia in the decade 1990's. Because the shape of the exotic, fragrant aroma, sweet taste dams make the dragon fruit is addressed separately in the hearts of lovers of fruits in Indonesia. Dragon fruit began to be known widely in Indonesia beginning in 2000, which was imported from Thailand.
Now rhino fruit (another name for dragon fruit) starts we meet sometimes marketed. In addition to the sweet refreshing taste, dragon fruit is also beneficial to human health. Dragon fruit originated from Mexico, Central America and northern South America also known as pitahaya or pitaya roja. This cactus plant was initially used as an ornamental plant because the figures are unique, exotic and view the beautiful flowers and fruit.
Better known as dragon fruit plants from Asia, because it is developed on a large scale in several Asian countries, especially Thailand and Vietnam.

DRAGON FRUIT CULTIVATION
Cultivate Dragon Fruit Dragon Fruit is very easy because it does not require complicated maintenance and drought resistant. Basically Dragon Fruit can be grown anywhere, from the lowland plains to the medium, Condition of fertile soil, loose, good drainage and soil pH neutral (6-7) represents the soil conditions are suitable for Dragon Fruit with temperatures ranging from 26-36 ˚ C and low rainfall (720 mm / year) with the dry months 6-8.
1. Land Preparation

2. Planting holes

Dragon Fruit Flowers will bloom perfectly at night at about 21:00 to 22:00 (night-blooming cereus), kesesokan day and what flowers will wilt if pollination has occurred it will develop into fruit. The time required ranging from flowers to fruit can be harvested 50-55 days.
